This is not a song choice I would've ever called for this particular source, but OMG, so goooooood.

Just the dorky, high-flying spirit of those magnificent Space Patrollers in their wonderful flying machine.

More thoughts later, probably, when I've collected myself.

So I love the mix of genres here. There's this meta aspect which compares the space adventure with the Western -- two genres both concerned with the frontier, but one about policing it, the other about surviving it. But still, quite a lot of overlap.

But also, it's just good old fun, with lots of great use of visual-musical match-ups and some great juxtapositions (explosions will be followed by drinks on the bridge). And then spaaaaaace daaaaancing.

Love it.

Hey, I was so excited, when I saw, that you wished a Raumpatrouille video! As this old German black-and-white TV-show from the sixties was my very first fandom when I was a child many-many years ago (yes, I'm THIS old), I wanted to do this vid soooo much! Mixing the genres was just a crazy idea first. Telling the truth, editing this one was pure fun.:))) Good old McLane and his crew!♥
