Wow. This is so fluid and shiny! You make amazing use of the inherent prettiness of the source and the punchiness of the music to create something both beautiful and really sinister. The way it gradually gets more and more frenetic and out of control, and ends in the downward spiral of death and emptiness that is the end of Gatsby - I love it!

Amazing! I never actually did watch this movie, but I came to watch the vid for the spectacle, and it did not disappoint! Love how you wove in the darkness and the fraying threads, until the violence and death and loss of control. Gorgeous work!

Absolutely brilliant! I love the electroswing song choice. Perfect for this adaptation of Gaatsby. And if that weren't enough, your editing makes the song fit the story beautifully as well. That was fucking epic. I love the visual explosion -- you've really made the most of the movie's over-the-top imagery and colors. But the best bit is how it follows the emotional trajectory of the source, who everything is WHEEE PARTY!!! until it suddenly, shockingly, isn't.

Great cutting, especially the work with internal motion. Loved the intercutting between the falling clothes and party streamers, the use of the car, how zoomy and roomy everything felt until it all got very still and small. Gorgeous.

AIN'T NO PARTY LIKE A GATSBY PARTY! Oh man, this vid is FANTASTIC. Never were Baz Lurhmann's great swooping camera shoots used to better effect.

I loved the bit before ~1:30 with the party confetti and the thrown clothing, then the dirt and poverty, the car driving ever forward but less in control, and the collapse of the party at the end, breathtaking.
