That song/character pairing was actually my last big revelation -- it was so obvious once I realized it, but I did a whole draft with something far inferior in that spot. :)

I love this! What a fantastic use of this mashup! Now I need to watch it ten more times to catch all the delightful matches between various songs and characters and lyrics. And it's shocking how much live for mocking Fancy Lego Batman. :D

Thanks! I feel I must confess it perhaps wasn't as hard as you might think, animation is nice like that, though i was messing with the speed of almost every clip, which made it both easier and harder. :) But then again I can't actually remember how much time I spent on it, as it was spaced out. :-) But I'm so glad you like it. :)

Ahhh, that was so much fun! I love how you matched up the different characters with the different parts of the mash up. I think my favourite was 'Fancy' for Batman :D But the whole thing is delightful, great job!

I just love when people use mashups for vids, because they just give so much freedom for interpretation of lyrics. I can tell that a lot of thought went into this to create a cohesive and fun ride! It's lovely.

I used to like doing instrumentals to be free of too much lyrical constraints, but this is definitely a more fun way to do it. :-) And I *adore* mashups! This one has such a great energy for this source, at least in my biased opinion. :)

I plan to do a real vid post and include some screenshots of my colored coded spreadsheet, it was definitely the most precisely planned vid I've done. :) Glad you liked it!!

Okay, so the concept behind this is GENIUS. Assigning each of the characters a theme in the mashup. I. LOVE. IT. *flails*

But then you go and make it work, with movement and humor and great visuals matching cleverly to the lyrics (London to Taiwan! LA to Tokyo! It's clear to see!) YESSSSSS.

I am in awe.

Haven't seen the movie, but as others have noted the use of different songs with different characters was inspired and great fun. Fancy Batman is my fave.
