when i saw the song choice i thought "okay, that's interesting?" but i didn't remember the song as well as i thought i did. :) That was a great choice, it really feels like something Wes Anderson would use. This is great at highlighting the primary relationship and their personalities and still feeling like a wes anderson film without being quite as... slow. :) Upbeat Anderson! Wonderful! Because so much is outside, it's not quite as visually wild as some of his films, but this just looked awesome. Thank you! it's a delight! :)

I'm glad you enjoyed it, and that the song choice ended up working for you. I know the Bangles version of the song is the one everyone thinks of these days, but somehow I think it has quite a different tone and meaning to this version. I agree with what you say, that the S&G version just seemed to match the quirkiness of Anderson. It was a real pleasure to vid it, too.
