Lyrics
Far over the snow,

What are those voices?

(Over the snow!)

They sing as they go,

What are those voices?

(Sing as they go!)

Look out for the Mounties!

Here come the Mounties!

We come,

Somebody hide,

Somebody better hide!

On thru' the hail

Like a pack of angry wolves on the trail!

(We are after you!)

Dead or alive

We are out to get you dead or alive!

(And we'll get you soon!)

If you're the one

Better run, better run away

Son, you are done

Throw your gun, throw your gun away

Here come the Mounties

To get the man they're after now.

*dying of glee*

I can't tell you how many times I literally laughed out loud while watching this vid -- so many fabulous perfect moments. The song choice is PERFECT. And you did such gorgeous things with the beautiful comic-book ridiculousness of this show. And all of the biff-bang-boom fight scenes, the tuba, the UFOs, you name it -- it's all in here, and I love it ALL.

Thank you so much, mystery vidder! You have totally made my week!

YAY! I could only hope that it make you laugh several times over, and I am so glad that it did! \o/

Isn't that song AMAZING? If you are going to re-record Eddy and MacDonald's greatest hits, you should GO BIG. And oh, did they ever!

You're very welcome, and I am so pleased that you enjoyed it!

Matt Keeslar is the MASTER of the dorky face. And to add to the wonderful, there's a bodyswap episode and a mirror!verse episode, and Keeslar's not!Middleman and mirror!Middleman are utterly distinct from this one (but still both hilarious): it's such a joy to watch.

Yay, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Making vids for the show was a strange mix of "yay, I get to revel in the showness of the show" punctuated by intense moments of "why is this all there was??" (I especially miss not having footage of the finale. The table read is great, I'm glad to have that and the comic, but I would have loved to have the legions of Middlemen bursting out of the Underworld for this.

(Well, maybe. I thought I was going to have lots more Ida, and '69 Middleman, too, and... It didn't happen because reasons. BUT. I would have liked the option!)

But I digress! Thank you, and I'm glad you enjoyed!

Pretty much all of the sequences made me cackle when I first laid them down, but his DELIGHT and SATISFACTION in that traffic cone...! And Wendy's "FINE we will save the world with the proper placement of a TRAFFIC CONE."

I couldn't find a way to cram in his burning passion to do card tricks for the crowd, but the TRAFFIC CONE OF HIGH DRAMA makes up for it. :-D

Thank you, I'm so glad you enjoyed!

Given how earnestly and respectfully he takes cross-cultural protocols, I imagine he would take it as the compliment it is.

(And it wouldn't surprise me AT ALL if he's got RCMP identification in the Middlemobile Filebox o' Fake IDs.)

I'm so glad you enjoyed it, thank you! :-)

YES, YES HE IS. :-D

The characterizations in the pilot are very slightly different than the characterizations thereafter, and I think the next couple of episodes are weak, but by the time you get to the fifth episode, it is nothing but joy and delight and big-hearted ridiculousness until the day they stopped filming it.

Indeed they do.

I love this song choice and the title and the summary and this show and this vid!

Oh, thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the summary -- it was that or Wendy's line about not waiting in the car while he does his "Dudley Do-Right thing" -- but I felt this was closer to the earnestness -- and the mechanics! -- of the fight against evil.

Making both of these vids, I almost almost forgot to miss the show. (Almost.)

Thank you, and I'm so glad you enjoyed!
