OMG, this killed me. First of all, you found the perfect song for this vid, with haunting rhythm and lyrics. What a brilliant portrait of O'Toole's Lawrence, this character between dream and obsession, political vision and egomania. Your editing is sublime.

And then the scenes with Sherif Ali!!! With these lyrics: "And outta black a figure forms a soldier in the sky. With a drop of love, trying to set you free." There might have been some sobbing here, y'know...

Thank you so much for creating this vid for me! I have dreamt of such a vid for years! <3

Wow. I don't think I've finished processing this vid, but it is immensely powerful. This is a movie I adore, and you've done something truly remarkable with it.

really captures the epic AND the intimate scope of this film. fantastic, hypnotic song choice, love the use of reflections and surfaces -- and O'Tool's blue, blue eyes should be registered as weapons.

This is seriously fantastic -- the anti-period choice of music and specifically that harshly cynical countercultural moment of rock that evokes (for me anyway) Apocalypse Now and that war and the general loss of faith works really well for me with Lawrence's story. The build to the moment in Deraa, and the near-the-end image of him behind the windshield, his face obscured and barely an outline -- yeah, just perfect. Really amazing work.

This is really thrilling--the editing leading up the end is particularly amazing. I love the pairing of song and movie. Thank you for sharing!

Wow, this is beautiful and thought-provoking. I will be rewatching this many times. There's so much going on here - right not I'm thinking about the personal and cultural effect of violence. Great song choice and amazing editing.

Holy crap, woman. This is just frigging amazing.

Okay. Am settling in to watch it for the third time, and have now reorganised my entire weekend around the necessity of watching Lawrence of Arabia again, again, and again.

I'm no good at explaining why something is technically full of the wow, but this is.

Wow. This is great.

Though I was distracted while watching it by my husband saying we really needed a much larger TV to watch clips from Lawrence of Arabia or the movie itself. Our TV was too small for this epic vid of an epic movie!
