Lyrics
"C'mon"

by Panic! at the Disco with fun.

[Brendon]

It’s getting late, and I

Cannot seem to find my way home tonight

Feels like I am falling down a rabbit hole

Falling for forever, wonderfully wandering alone

What would my head be like

If not for my shoulders

Or without your smile

May it follow you forever

May it never leave you

To sleep in the stone,

May we stay lost on our way home

[Brendon]

C’mon, c’mon, with everything falling down around me

I’d like to believe in all the possibilities

[Nate]

If I should die tonight

May I first just say I’m sorry

For I, never felt like anybody

I am a man of many hats although I

Never mastered anything

When I am ten feet tall

I’ve never felt much smaller, since the fall

Nobody seems to know my name

So don’t leave me to sleep all alone

May we stay lost on our way home?

[Brendon and Nate]

C’mon, c’mon, with everything falling down around me

I’d like to believe in all the possibilities

[Brendon and Nate]

C’mon, c’mon, with everything falling down around me

I’d like to believe in all the possibilities

[Brendon]

Try not to mistake what you have with what you hate

[Brendon and Nate]

It could leave, it could leave, come the morning

[Nate]

Celebrate the night

It’s the fall before the climb

[Brendon and Nate]

Shall we sing, shall we sing, 'til the morning

[Brendon]

If I fall forward, you fall flat

[Brendon and Nate]

And if the sun should lift me up

Would you come back? C'mon!

[music interlude]

[Brendon]

C’mon, c’mon, with everything falling down around me

I’d like to believe in all the possibilities

[Brendon and Nate]

C’mon, c’mon, with everything falling down around me

I’d like to believe in all the possibilities

[Brendon and Nate]

So c’mon, c’mon, with everything falling down around me

I’d like to believe in all the possibilities

[Brendon screams] YEAH YEAH YEAH!

[Brendon]

It’s getting late and I, cannot seem to find my way home tonight.

Oh wow I wept actual tears watching this. Perfect, perfect song choice, and I really love the way you wove back and forth between Riley in the outside world and the world within her head. FEELS INDEED.

TINY LITTLE FEELINGS PEOPLE. FEELS FEELS FEELS.

This is so fantastic, and exactly what I wanted for an Inside Out vid! Such a PERFECT marriage of song choice and editing. It feels earnestly epic, in their quest to get back home and Joy's and Riley's personal journeys, in particular, and ahhhh I have so many earnest feeeeeelings. I love how you use the different voices for different characters initially, and then bring them together when the voices combine. I love how you connect what's happening inside Riley's head to her reactions in the world, and my precious darling Joy, who is so determined that Riley must be happy. I am drawing so many hearts all over this, and rewatching it over and over. <3333

Thank you so much, festividder!

I had the song in mind before I ever even saw Inside Out. It just had that cartoony sound to it that I was hoping would work, maybe for something Pixar. And it worked out better than I could've ever imagined for Inside Out.

I'm so happy you enjoy the vid. Thank you so much!! hearts;

OMG great use of the character voices for the song. I giggled at "if I should die" with Sadness pushing the button. This is such a lovely vid that really captures the feeling of the movie with all it's hope. This is so good.

See, it was bad enough when it was the length of a film and now you've gone and condensed all those feels into less than four minutes and made it sad and joyful and hopeful and beautiful and I'm going to have to go and get a new box of tissues. Thank you? :D

Fantastic use of the song to guide the rises and falls of the action and emotions of the story. So many excellent lyric and musical matches. And above all, like others have said above, the experience fulfilled the promise of the password.

FEELS IS RIGHT. Ugh, I just watched the film and then came over here to watch the vids for it because apparently I haven't CRIED ENOUGH. Seriously, though, that was beautiful. The cutting between Riley's life and inside her head was so seamlessly done! Such a great flow and great storytelling. And god, the quiet bits with Joy in the memory dump and again at the end, were just so poignant and gorgeous and ughhhh my emotions.

PS Brendon Urie as Joy might be the most perfect thing ever.
