Well, fuck, thank you for reminding me how much I goddamn love these two with the strength of a punch in the face. Holy shit, I spent the entire watch and rewatch (and rewatch) just grinning my face off because THESE TWO TERRIBLE LOSERS I CARE ABOUT THEM SO.

This was a completely inspired song choice, I don't think I'll ever un-hear it as a Luther song now. And I love how you gave this vid a shape; there's a point in the middle where you show that their goals and methods are starting to align, giving them this sense of terrible purpose, and how you portrayed the growing intensity of their mutual codependence and obsession had me flailing with glee. The ending in particular, where they run off on their weird morally depraved murder road trip, just fed my poor wicked soul.

This was incredibly well done, and I'm just so completely pleased, it's exactly what I wanted out of a Luther vid. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.

The song kept bothering me and I had to give in and just do it. Yay, I'm so glad the shape of it worked for you--the only downside to Luther is not enough Alice and that we don't see enough of them engaging in murderous shenanigans together, it was super fun to fix that. I've never seen this show, but Idris Elba and Fall Out Boy is a combination I couldn't refuse and I am so glad because damn that was awesome. Such great editing and totally compelling. I'm sure there's stuff I'm missing from not having seen the show, but I was still totally engrossed and also shipping it?? Great work!

Mmm. That was gorgeous and disturbing, which as near as I can tell (for someone who has never seen the source), are the hallmarks of a perfect Luther vid.

Oh wow. This whole thing is amazing. I loved every single thing you did with the pistol in the first verse, and the other weapons (even that tall building is a weapon, a way to damage & kill). The 'tear's for the wife, Alice's childhood, Luthor is completely aware of Alice's hobbies, awesome lyrics usage. The parallel attacks they each have at 2:11. The whole slow quiet buildup to the huge grin at 2:33, the rest of the vid how they team up and ride off into the sunset together, absolutely brilliant. I LOVE THIS VID SO MUCH OMG.
