If you'd asked me if there was anything new to say about this visual source, let's say I would have been dubious at best. And yet, you managed it. This is fresh and different and I really enjoyed it. It's so delightfully 80s, but in a way that's more about what the 80s were concerned with than revelling in 80s cheese, which fits in perfectly with what the film was trying to say about the earlier Flash Gordon serials. Thank you, festividder. I'm definitely going to be re-watching this one.
