So awesome! This is 100% a vid to watch on a bad day to perk you right up.

I love this song to death and am so happy to see it used brilliantly in this vid.

Around the three minute mark, starting with the banjo, I just burst out into a goofy grin with love for how you can really see, really feel, how Harold is working to embrace Maude's way of life. Her quirk and fun and how he wants that to be part of him, too.

Around the four minute, when Harold sees the concentration mark tattoo to her death just makes me melt. And I love that showing her smiling and loving things so much makes you want to snuggle Harold 'cause you know Maude's okay, she's still full of life, even when dying, it's him that's losing something so profound and... and... gah! I love this vid. So, so much. Just... insert more gushing praise :) ♥ thank you so much!

I didn't know anything about this source, so I didn't know what to expect when I started watching this, but it certainly wasn't this touching, beautiful look at what looks to be a charming and funny friendship. I love the sequence where they are dancing, how the editing slows down, speeds up, and slows down, and then speeds up again to the end of the dance. It's so sad at the end, though! His teary eyes, so sad.
