This is ridiculously wonderful and you didn't skimp on the virgin sacrifices/themes and for that I TIP MY HAT!

I love this, from the flow to the dragons to the heroicness to the fact that you really really captured why I will always love this movie and why I considered it far superior to Raiders of the Lost Ark when I was 5 (pssst, secretly, I still like it better). I will never ever never be able to hear this song and not think of bad, mean, eatin' virgin dragons ever again! THIS IS A WIN!

This is fantastic! I remember the movie from when I was a kid of about seven -- the princess's death seriously shocked me then and that's all I really had in my head. Now I think I may need to go watch it again. I'd managed to completely forget the woman blacksmith.

Excellent storytelling! I haven't seen this source, but this was a great primer for it. The shot of the amulet sliding was really effective.
